Hyatt Adopts 48-Hour Cancellation Policy

Hyatt Hotels Corp. has enacted a stricter cancellation policy across its system for hotel reservations made or altered after Jan. 1. Bookings canceled within 48 hours of a guest’s stay will incur a fee. The move is in line with policies established by Marriott and Hilton in 2017. Hyatt loyalty program members at the Explorist, Globalist and Lifetime Globalist levels will be allowed to cancel within 24 hours before arrival if a hotel’s cancellation policy is 48 hours. More.
